I won't draw Seal of the Devil any longer.

Don't get me wrong, it's a hard decision and I still place a lot of sentimental value on the comic. For a whole year I've kept thinking "I'll draw more someday, just you wait, it'll happen" - but in reality, that day never comes. I always have more important things to do.

Fact is, when I started the comic back in 2003 I was just a bored highschool freshman. I have inevitably grown a bit since those times. Now I'm an increasingly busy student in my twenties, living and working on my own. I simply can't afford doing a webcomic anymore. It's a lot of work with little more tangible benefit than a number of happy fans. I love the fans, but sadly I can't dedicate so much of my free time to their cause.

Let's face it, SotD is a fairly silly attempt at comic storytelling. People enjoy reading it nevertheless and I'm happy they do, but it's still something I thought up back when I was fifteen. Simply put, I have big ambitions and I can't reach them with SotD. I want to move on and do something different.

So, no more Seal of the Devil. It's a shame it has to end like this, but continuing it doesn't make much sense to me either at this point.
That said, my deepest apologies to each of you reading this, or having read SotD for that matter - but it's been tremendous fun while it lasted! So thank you for everything, and I hope we'll see again in other circumstances!

PS. If all goes well, I will start new comic projects in the (near?) future. I aim to have them published, but I suppose there's a chance you'll get to read previews online.
